INTERMITTENT PRAYER

Prayer simply means to make supplication or petition to God. In other words, prayer refers to talking to God. This is the only way we can receive from God. Prayer is so essential such that without it we are nothing or rather a prey  before satan.That is why even our model, the epitome of perfection (JESUS CHRIST) began his ministry with prayer and ends it with prayer. If the creator of the universe must answer you then you must pray.

HOW OFTEN DO WE PRAY

Christ prays always and asked his disciples to watch and pray so that they will not be tempted .math 26:41.Significance of prayer can not be over emphasized. Intermittent prayer simply implies that there is a break in faith. This means a break in relationship. When there is a break in relationship one is all alone

To handle his//her problems him/herself. Intermittent prayer makes one vulnerable to satan.Prayer connects us to God and keeps the fire burning but when there is a break the fire goes down and you became powerless. The Holy Bible clearly tells us t o pray without ceasing 1thes 5:17.Apostle Paul also advised to be constant in prayer. Roman 12:12.Praying without ceasing does not necessary means you need to pray for 24 hours without a break. Prayer is just like the food we eat, without food we can not survive but do you eat food for twenty four hours without a ceasing? No, we don’t .This implies that One need not to let a whole day pass away without praying for at least praying for 3 times. You don’t need any extra time to pray. You have all the time you need. While driving you can pray, while washing, while working on files etc.

YOU DON’T NO HOW TO PRAY. That is not true .The first prayer people like you need to pray be God teach me how to pray. Besides, never let a day pass away without reading the word of God (Bible).

JESUS TAUGHT US HOW TO PRAY

OUR LORDS PRAYER

Our father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven,

Give us to day our daily bread,

Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. AAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN.Math 6:9-13

HOW TO GET OUR PRAYERS ANSWERED

Verse 14 of math 6 clearly defined it that if we do not forgive those who offend us, our prayers can not be answered. That is, our father will also not also forgive us. If you are not forgiven by God how your prayers can be answered?

Again, constant  prayer is what we need. JESUS illustrated that in the book of Luke 11:5-11
